How dare Electra stick her nose back in my business! I will teach her, but for right now I got a job to do and that job is to welcome Ashley Renee to the IWS. I still might be new to this place, but there is a pecking order around here and I am gonna show her and anyone else that I will peck harder than anyone here to get to where I want to be.
The week had been slow and stressful for Judith, she hasn’t seen her boyfriend Alex in almost a week and when they talk on the phone something sounds off about him. Her sister Eva might say not to worry about it, but it’s just something she can not shake. Thank God she has this match to focus on so she can escape her feelings.
Judith- “So what have you found out about her sis?”
She ask knowing her sister has been looking into her opponent, it must be a big deal for her to debut at a huge IWS event and not just a house show or Injection.
Lilith- “Well she has five years under her belt of wrestling, she has held multiple titles and is inducted into some type of Hall of something. Her style is pretty balanced, but her moves look vicious. I think she will really bring the fight to you.”
Judith- “They all bring the fight to me sis. I am not terribly worried I defeated Josie and nobody thought I was going to be able to. Now how bad would it look if I could defeat a former IWS Universe Champion and then this girl just comes in here and stomps all over me. I don’t think so.”
Lilith- “haha you do got spunk sissy, but don’t get overly confident.”
Judith- “I am not I am just saying I am not going to treat her any differently then I treated Josie or then I treat Electra or any other Amazon in this company.”
She turns around and grabs her bottle of water off her sisters table. Her cell phone rings and she sees it is Alex calling her.
Judith- “Can I take this?”
Lilith- “Why you asking my permission?”
She walks out of the small apartment to the building’s hallway and answers the phone.
Judith- “Hi baby what you doing?”
She hears violent sobbing on the other end of the phone.
Judith- “Sweetie what’s wrong?”
The concern in her voice turns to a little bit of panic as she wonders what is wrong and if anything serious has happened to him.
Alex- “I’m just having a really bad day babe. I needed to hear your voice. I don’t feel like anyone here appreciates me and I put my head on the chopping block all the time. I just want to hear a simple I love you…or you are amazing…maybe a Nobody can ever take your place. I don’t know why I bother, nobody is ever gonna really love me.”
Judith- “Oh sweetie I love you! I think you are an amazing man! I can never see anybody taking your place.”
He sniffles and she hears a slight smile in his tone.
Alex- “Thanks hun. Show biz is so tough, maybe I am not cut out for this. I have had six auditions this week and zero callbacks sometimes I wonder if it is worth being away from you. What about you, how is your week?”
The poor thing asking me about my weak when he is so hurt, she thinks. She sighs as she thinks of what to tell him and how because she does not want to stress him out anymore then he already is.
Judith- “Things are a bit crazy, but nothing that I can not handle.”
Alex- “That’s my girl always so confident. Are you going be in the next super show? I would love to watch my girl kicking some butt.”
Judith- “Yes I am. I am facing this new girl named Ashley, she has a lot more experience than I do. I still think that I can handle myself though I have learned a lot in the few months I have become a wrestler.”
Alex- “I know you can do it babe. I will be watching you.”
The two talked for awhile longer before bidding each other farewell. It sure does seem like Judith is ready to go, will her opponent be just as ready? Will the fact she is still green cost her this match? How about Electra King still pushing her buttons each week? Now she stands in the streets late at night her sister taping her.
Judith- “September to Dismember is right around the corner and I am very excited, I love getting into that ring. I usually hate when people over use it but this is my calling. The energy you get from the crowd, the way you push yourself and your opponent will push right back till you both are at your highest potential. I never felt more confident that I have made the right choice in my life then I am over IWS. Now Ashley I don’t know much about you and I doubt you know much about me, but I would like to welcome you to IWS it was not that long ago I was new here. The only thing is you have been doing this for years in other companies and I am still building my place in this world. I like that though, I like the challenge that is before me and I hope we have a great match!
However… Electra King you have made it a point to show up here and there and anywhere that can aggravate me. If you think that you are going to show up in my match then you are a lot more idiotic then I originally thought. I plan on winning this thing cleanly and I would like to lose it just as cleanly if that is the way fate wants it to be. I am not gonna be intimidated not by anyone, now sit back relax and enjoy the show.”
She winks playfully at the camera giving the audience a heart melting grin as the camera turns off. She walks back to inside the apartment building her heart pumping with anticipation for this match. It’s not the biggest one in her career so far, but to her every one of her matches counts for something.

Time wasn't an issue anymore. It had been a week since she had returned to the world of wrestling. And had yet to set back in to training. She reunited with Travis, and as rocky as it had gone, had managed to convince him to help her train. Much to her surprise, he had accepted and they agreed to meet at the gym. She felt unprepared so far for her match against Judith Eva. She had found a couple match histories, read up on her. She was....misjudged. Underestimated. Everyone around this place were nothing like they seemed. She walked up the steps of the building and into the small gym. Having arrived about ten minutes early, she went ahead and dressed in to her workout clothes, pulling her hair back and out of her face.
"Ash? You here?"
"Yeah, Travis. I am here."
She walked out and let her smug smile grow across her lips. Last time they had trained, she had gotten the best of him. Her hopes were high that the outcome would be the same once again. They entered the punching area and Travis grabbed a punching bag from behind, steadying it.
"So, what all do you know about her?"
She sighed and stanced herself, fists at the ready, feet spread apart.
"Not much. Just a few matches. She is all about not judging a book by its cover. Sounds like me about 3 years ago. Blowing off a bunch of steam about a 'pecking order'. So it sounds like I am just an excuse to prove herself further to the company."
He gave a small nod and she returned it. They were ready. She hit the bag. Once. Twice. And then a third time, the chains rattling with each hit.
"I am just ready to get back to it. Sick of just sitting on the sidelines. It is something that is in your blood, so to speak."
She lost count of the punches, but as caught off guard as the bag swung away with a final punch. He had let go.
"Well, you'll be fine. You always do well with the first match. Maybe you've got a need to prove yourself, I don't know. But you'll get it."
She smiled as they walked over to the rest bench. They sat down and she turned to him. He was a puzzle. Always there for her. Never waivering in his dedication, even if it's been years since they last saw each other. Soulmates, was the word. Always the same with each other, no matter how much time had passed. As much as she would like things to stay the same, it would always be this way.
"I will get it. I have got it. It is almost like you have no faith. I can win. I can lose. I have done both before and neither of the one has killed me. But I do wish to win. It has been a long time since I last had a victory. And you know it. I do not want a beginnings luck win, either. I want a hard fought, honestly won victory. From everything I've heard, she gets all the beginning matches. All the first timers. So there's gotta be a reason for that. If you are worth your time in the ring, you do not get stuck with all the new people in a company. It just would not make any sense."
She stood and walked to the punching bag, ready to start again.

We see a spiral staircase. The camera follows the twists and bends down into a darkened room, illuminated only by candle light and a fire, roaring in the fireplace. There are two stained glass windows with a throne like chair sitting between them. A large picture of Vlad the Impaler sits framed above the chair. Glass cases surround most of the walls, old artifacts displayed. A large mahogany bookcase against another wall filled with books.
Some are fairly new, others are barely held together by their tattered and torn spine. We look back at the throne and see Ashley sitting in the seat, a book opened in her lap as she is engrossed in the words on the pages. She closes the book and sets it down on a small table beside of her.
"Most people think that Twilight was a good movie. That Edward was "perfect" and that they either wanted to be Rosalie or Alice. Interview with a Vampire was closer. But still far from what it is actually like. All the rage now is for everyone to shout louder how badly they want to be a vampire. The good, blood, sex, murder, sleep all day, party all night. The bad, garlic, crosses, wooden stakes, Bibles, silver. And the ugly. The ugly is by far the worst part. The ugly is the thing inside you that tries to remain human. It thinks that you are still alive, so it tries to keep what it can of your humanity. Any time you take a life, there is immense guilt. No matter what you try to do. It can not and will not go away."
She stands and walks to the fireplace, gazing at a line of 7 human skulls lined above the mantle of the fireplace. Most are old, decrepit, and would be rotting, had they not been saved from the dirt they were originally placed in.
"One thing is certain in this life. Death. Death will come on swift wings, take whomever it wishes, and there will be no force strong enough to stop it. But there is. And that force to stop Death, is me. I have not been able to save anyone close to me, my father, my mother, my brother or sister, from Death, but myself, I am the one I can keep safe. I will not die, not unless I wish to. Which is a gift and a curse. Time is both my enemy and friend. And I will always keep coming back." [/b]
